Last night, I was reading to CK on the couch. We were reading The Berestien Bear : On The Moon. CK is fasinated by rockets after he learn about them from the Word World educational series. I was half way reading, and suddenly CK told me ‘水！水！’. And look at where he pointed i.e. the side of my lap. Guess what….did my water just BROKE ?? I don’t know how it felt if my water broke since I have had no experience when I went into labor with CK then. I was shocked or maybe stunned. Then…I noticed CK’s pants were wet. hehe…looks like it was my dear boy peed in his pants without him realizing it.
Obviously, my water didn’t break or else I won’t be sitting down here typing this post 
Yes..I have craving this time. After all the morning sickness were gone by Week 14, my craving began. At first it was all kinds of noodle especially from malaysian hawker store e.g. Prawn Noodle, ‘Pan Meen’, Fried Hokkien Noodle/Bihoon, Meen Seen Soup etc. CK was among the happiest person since he prefers noodles than rice. It seems I crave mostly on Malaysian food. Others are like Hainanese Chicken Rice, Claypot Chicken Rice, Satay, Curry, all kinds of kuih etc. However, being so far away from home, I don’t have the luxury where I can get the food by driving to a hawker center. I have to cook myself. So, I was joking with my hubby that he is lucky as since I crave for these food, I cook them and he get to enjoy them.
Another food that I have been craving till now are cakes. Regardless what type of cakes, as long as it is from the oven, I love it, even the easiest cake i.e. muffins. That’s why I have been doing a lot of baking this time. And again the cake lover is the happiest person in this family..who else if not CK. He is always asking for Chocolate Cake. When I bake chocolate chip muffin, he would eat all the chocolate chips and return the cake to us unless he is hungry. Nowadays when we pass by the Bakery section at the grocery store, CK will ask me to buy Birthday Cake for him. The first time he said ‘Cake Birthday’ but he has been corrected now.
As usual, pregnant woman loves sweet especially desserts. My freezer is never out of ice-cream stock. I would stock up whenever there is sale on brands that I like. But I think this time I ate lesser ice-cream compare to when I had CK. Guess that explain why I passed my glucose test during 1st screening this time around 
So, for past couple of months, CK will wait for ice-cream after I shower. At times when he heard the bathroom door opened, he would go upstairs and said ‘Mummy 冲凉好了。康康吃 ice-cream.’ (Mummy has showered, CK wants to eat ice-cream)
Did you notice the food that I crave for seems to be CK’s favorite as well. ha! Do you think the next baby will have a different taste bud?
People even the nurses at the doctor office were telling me if your experience during the 2nd pregnancy is different from the first, the gender of the baby is going to be different. Guess both the eastern & western culture share this old folks’ tale. It doesn’t happen to me !! Besides having a small tummy which is similar to when I had CK, this 2nd pregnancy was totally different in terms of morning sickness and food cravings.
